Freaking fantastic! What a way to play up the idea of a "soundtrack to my life" theme...and the ending couldn't have been more abrupt and shocking. Thanks for a great story!

I agree, I loved the ending on this one. It was completely unexpected as I was reading it, and yet in hindsight, it seemed entirely inevitable. It had to end that way. I have yet to actually load up the playlist in the story and listen to it while reading, but I hope to at some point. I imagine it makes it even better.

It would be awesome if e-readers were capable of syncing music as you read. Like once you "turn" to a new section, the song begins to play. That would be great.

Ah, but the technology isn't there yet. Personally, I can't wait until e-readers are capable of playing greater audio that syncs up to what you're reading. Background noise, like traffic, waves at the beach, night sounds, etc. It'll be a cool new reading experience.

That might... might... be enough to sell me on getting one.

Or maybe not, I don't know... lol.

Nope. I like my own sounds. Smile Tall T - your namesake, for instance. I can now only see Dinklage in my head and I can't remember "my Tyrion" from before the casting.

Anyhow.....

Actually, Dinklage is not far off from how I pictured Tyrion. I only wish they could have done the mismatched eyes... Sad

You know, when I first started reading The Game of Thrones, in my head Tyrion looked like a typical fantasy dwarf. You know, short, muscular, long beard, war hammer. Haha.

I knew nothing about the series when I started reading it other than it was supposedly the best fantasy series written in decades. So I had no idea what to expect. And I definitely didn't expect a midget. Haha.

I recorded Wes' reading of this at Killercon, soundtrack included. The ending was especially chilling. We'll get it up so everybody can catch it!
